Obsidian- A Sinfully Good Book (Re-Review)

So I decided to officially get into the Lux Series: Best. Decision Ever. Obsidian, the first book,  has been permanently etched into my brain. So a little back ground, the books star a girl named Katy who moves next to these alien called Luxen. They are twins, Daemon and Dee. Daemon is a moody jerk who basically only hangs out with Katy because he has to protect her from the alien bad guys, the Arum. Dee makes him play nice, however, by stealing the keys to his car and making him ask Katy to go swimming, which in the end turned out to be a good experience for both of them. But things turn to extraterrestrial crap real fast as the DOD (Department of Defense) start screwing around in the Luxen's business. Arum start attacking more often and Daemon is forced to reveal his alien side in order to save Katy's life. Things only get more complicated from there! The book is filled with side-clenching humor and an undeniable sweetness that just makes your toes curl. Even though they argue like an old married couple and both think they hate each other, they totally have the hots for each other.  The way they look at each other sometimes....Ah but I can't spoil it! Great book, and if you like a surly and completely HOT bad-boy and a hilarious and sassy heroine than I totally recommend it!

Rate: 5/5
